How to See Someone’s Reddit Comment History
Last updated: November 4, 2026
Comments are often harder to review than posts because they’re scattered across threads. How you read them depends on whether the account’s profile still shows them.
Method 1: the Reddit profile
Open the account’s profile on Reddit and choose the Comments tab. It’s free and always current, but it shows nothing the owner has hidden, and long histories take a lot of scrolling.
Method 2: Peekvane
Peekvane looks up a username and lists the public comments it finds. Enter the name on the search page, switch to the Comments tab, then filter by subreddit. It can work when a profile hides its comments, as long as they were made in public subreddits.
What neither method shows
- Private messages or chats.
- Comments in private subreddits or behind a Reddit login.
- Votes, saved items or who is behind an account.
Peekvane results may be incomplete, delayed or out of date, and may include comments later edited or deleted on Reddit. Read a comment in context before drawing conclusions about the person who wrote it.
Cost
Reddit’s profile page is free. On Peekvane: a free search shows part of a user’s results with no account. Unlocking every result for a user costs 4 credits and lasts 24 hours. Credit packs are one-time purchases that start at $4.99 for 50 credits, and credits don’t expire.
Using it responsibly
Peekvane is for reading public content. Our Terms of Service forbid using it to harass, stalk, threaten, dox or discriminate against anyone. If you have a concern about a result, contact us.
Common questions
Can I see deleted Reddit comments?
Sometimes. A public comment may still appear after it’s deleted, but this isn’t guaranteed.
Can I search one user’s comments by subreddit?
Yes. Peekvane lets you filter a user’s results by subreddit.
Do I need a Reddit account?
No. Peekvane doesn’t use a Reddit login, and a free search doesn’t need an account of any kind.
